Tarea Tema 4 - Mi PLE Investigador
It is possible to use several social networks in the scientific/academic environment, in order to achieve the highest achievable quality for the research developed.
Some of the most famous and recognized research social networks are: ORCID, Google Scholar, About.me, ResearchGate.
In my perspective, these tools and scientific social networks enable to find a wider range of publications, in different editors (IEE, Widley, Elselvier, etc) and to establish contact with many relevant scientists of our field worldwide.
The features provided by these networks are excellent tools for the Researcher 2.0, once they are well used. It is important to always respect the limits of ethics and make proper use of the AI together with these tools.
The network ResearchGate, for example, is a tool that enables a different connection between the researchers in the world. Some of the possibilities provided by the ResearchGate are: easily request full-text access to publications and ask technical questions directly to the authors, without bureocracy; find and annouce job offers in the research field; start a technical discussions, as in a forum, for example; and fastly add public posts about our new publications.
In case you want to check, here's the link of my ResearchGate profile. Please feel free to access my ResearchGate profile using the QR code below, if you prefer.
It is also a pleasure to share with you all my personal webmix at the Symbaloo platform, which gathers my reseatrch tools in only one Webmix.
